stampfree.ai raises over £1 million to bring AI-powered, messaging-based parcel innovation to global ecommerce logistics

stampfree.ai has closed an oversubscribed investment round and launched the world's first ecommerce returns journey managed entirely through WhatsApp.

stampfree.ai has successfully raised £1,029,968 in new investment, reinforcing our mission to modernise ecommerce and parcel logistics through social media customer experiences and AI labelfree parcel technology. The round was once again oversubscribed, reflecting continued and growing investor confidence in the company's direction.

The investment includes continued backing from long-term partner R42 Group, who have supported stampfree.ai in every fundraising round to date, alongside participation from new and existing investors through the crowdfunding communities on Crowdcube and Republic.

The raise follows a transformative 12 months for the company, marked by major milestones across commercial partnerships, carrier integrations, and intellectual property development. Most notably, stampfree.ai launched a world-first: an ecommerce returns journey managed entirely through WhatsApp. Powered by its appfree platform, the innovation lets consumers manage returns within WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, removing the need to download apps or navigate complex return portals.

Key milestones from the past year include:

World-first WhatsApp returns journey with Rugs Direct and Evri; consumers can now manage ecommerce returns entirely within WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, with no app download required.

Carrier integrations with Royal Mail and Evri; helping retailers streamline customer communication and parcel return experiences at scale.
EU and US patents secured for the company's proprietary AI-powered labelfree technology, adding to its existing UK patent. The technology allows consumers to send parcels without printing or attaching a label.

International deployment; labelfree technology is now live, including with QazPost in Kazakhstan.

The new funding will support continued product development, international expansion, strategic partnerships, and further deployment of stampfree.ai's appfree and labelfree technologies across global postal and ecommerce networks.
